Additional Information for Content Creators
What Constitutes Copyright Infringement
Copyright infringement occurs when copyrighted material is reproduced, distributed, performed, publicly displayed, or made into a derivative work without the permission of the copyright owner.
Fair Use Consideration
Before submitting a DMCA notification, please consider whether the use of copyrighted material falls under fair use or other exceptions to copyright infringement. Fair use is a legal doctrine that permits limited use of copyrighted material without acquiring permission from the rights holders.
Documentation Requirements
When submitting a DMCA notification, please provide as much detail as possible to help us identify and locate the allegedly infringing content. Include specific URLs, screenshots, or other evidence that clearly demonstrates the infringement.
Service Provider Status
norlixa operates as a service provider and hosts content created and uploaded by our users. We do not actively monitor user-generated content for copyright infringement but respond promptly to valid DMCA notifications.
Preservation of Content
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notification, we may preserve a copy of the allegedly infringing material for potential legal proceedings. This preservation does not constitute an admission of liability or infringement.
